Exceptionally Fine Pair of heavy gauge French Glazed Porcelain Oil Lamps of impressive proportions, with ornate Ormolu bases now converted to Electric Table Lamps, of good size proportions, mid to early Nineteenth Century.
The main Cobalt blue outer bodies of bulbous form in glazed porcelain each with a lavish cast ormolu wide decorative band below a beaded edge and twin art nouveau style scrolling handles. Raised on their original Acanthus cast ormolu bases each with attractive platform base with canted corners detail. The upper areas retaining parts of the original oil burners.
Condition: These Lamps have been professionally re-gold plated and re-wired. Back and front views are similar.
